Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The successful operator will be tasked with operating and maintaining excavation and loading equipment (Shovels and Loaders) on the project site. The primary responsibilities for this role include:

• Operating Shovel and Loader equipment efficiently and with complete safety, following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and direct supervisor instructions.
• Performing excavation, loading, and material handling tasks (such as soil, backfill, construction materials) as per daily work plan requirements.
• Conducting daily pre-operation visual inspections of the equipment to check the condition of all systems and components.
• Reporting any malfunctions or technical issues with the equipment immediately to the maintenance department and supervisor.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the equipment and working in a clean, organized site.
• Strictly adhering to all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) protocols on the work site, ensuring a safe working environment for all.
• Collaborating with other team members (equipment operators, drivers, laborers) to ensure smooth operations.
• Other duties may include assisting with simple project-related tasks as needed.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

To qualify for this opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:

• Certification/License: Possession of a valid, Saudi Arabia-recognized heavy equipment operator license.
• Practical Experience: Proven hands-on experience of at least 3 to 5 years operating Shovel and Loader equipment on construction, infrastructure, or building project sites.
• Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of heavy equipment mechanics and the ability to identify basic issues.
• Safety Commitment: A strong track record of safety compliance, with a deep understanding of safe work procedures.
• Physical Fitness: Good physical condition to work on a construction site environment and full working hours.
• Personal Skills: High reliability, ability to work in a team, self-discipline, and effective communication.
• Legal Status: Preference will be given to candidates with a valid transferable residency permit (Iqama) or those already residing within the Kingdom.
