Job Description & Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be an integral part of the showroom's sales team, responsible for representing the brand and ensuring an exceptional purchasing experience for customers. Key responsibilities include:
- Customer Service & Sales: Greeting customers in the showroom in a friendly and professional manner, understanding their needs, and providing appropriate advice on displayed products.
- Achieving Sales Targets: Actively striving to meet and exceed individual and team sales targets set by management.
- Product Knowledge: Developing comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of all products in the showroom, their features, and benefits to deliver compelling presentations.
- Showroom Operations: Contributing to maintaining high visual merchandising standards, arranging products, and ensuring the showroom's cleanliness and appeal at all times.
- Cash Handling: Accurately completing sales transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system, generating invoices, and handling cash and card payments.
- Inventory Management: Assisting with periodic stock counts, reporting low-stock items, and ensuring product availability for customers.
- Handling Inquiries & Complaints: Addressing customer queries and resolving any complaints professionally and effectively to ensure complete satisfaction.
- Teamwork: Collaborating closely with team members and management to foster a positive work environment and improve overall showroom performance.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
To qualify for this opportunity, you should meet the following criteria:
- Experience: Proven previous experience in retail sales or as a showroom salesman. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in related sectors.
- Personal Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.
- Friendly, courteous, and customer-service oriented personality.
- Persuasion ability and strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and during peak times while maintaining composure and efficiency.
- Team player with the ability to work collaboratively.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) systems and Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel) is an added advantage.
- Educational Qualifications: A high school diploma as a minimum. Certificates or courses in sales or customer service are beneficial.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work in shifts, including on official holidays and weekends, according to the showroom's schedule.
