Job Description and Responsibilities

The Laboratory Supervisor will be responsible for the comprehensive operational management of the advanced nursing simulation lab. Key duties include:

• Operational and Technical Management: Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the lab, including advanced simulation equipment (e.g., responsive robotic manikins), audiovisual systems, and specialized software. This involves performing routine maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and ensuring all systems are operational for training sessions.
• Educational Support: Working closely with the Nursing College faculty to design and implement clinical simulation scenarios that align with curriculum and learning objectives. Qualifications and Requirements

• Work Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of practical experience in a clinical (nursing) setting or in managing/operating medical or nursing simulation laboratories. Previous experience in an academic setting is a significant advantage.
• Technical Skills: In-depth understanding of the operation and maintenance of patient simulators (human patient simulators) and associated audiovisual systems. Proficiency with relevant computer software.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both Arabic and English. Strong ability to work in a team and collaborate with faculty and students from diverse backgrounds. High organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with nursing education standards and practices, particularly those related to simulation-based learning.
