Radix Media in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, is actively recruiting for the position of Social Media Manager. This role presents a prime opportunity for ambitious digital marketing professionals to join a dynamic team and play a key role in shaping the company's digital voice and building strong connections with target audiences in the Omani and regional market.

Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The Social Media Manager will hold a pivotal role within the marketing team, serving as the primary lead for developing, executing, and managing the company's overall social media strategy. The focus will be on enhancing brand awareness, driving engagement, and achieving defined business objectives through digital channels.

Core expected responsibilities include:

  • Strategy Development & Execution: Crafting and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with Radix Media's overarching brand goals, identifying the most relevant platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter/X, Facebook, and emerging relevant platforms).
  • Content Creation & Management: Leading the creation of engaging, high-quality, and diverse content (copy, imagery, video, infographics) tailored for each platform to effectively resonate with the target audience. This includes content planning, copywriting, scheduling, and publishing.
  • Community Management & Engagement: Monitoring daily conversations across all platforms, responding to comments and messages promptly and professionally, and fostering an active and loyal community around the brand.
  • Performance Analysis & Reporting: Utilizing analytics tools (native platform insights, or tools like Hootsuite, Sprout Social) to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as reach, engagement, conversion rates, and website traffic. Analyzing data to provide regular reports and actionable recommendations for continuous optimization.
  • Paid Campaign Management: Planning and overseeing the execution of paid social media advertising campaigns to boost content, generate leads, or achieve specific marketing objectives, while optimizing budget for the best possible return.
  • Digital Reputation Monitoring: Tracking brand mentions and industry trends, and effectively addressing any negative sentiment in a way that protects the company's reputation.
  • Research & Proactivity: Staying abreast of the latest social media trends, tools, and industry best practices, and proposing new, creative initiatives to maintain the company's digital leadership.

Required Qualifications and Skills

To be a successful candidate for this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Proven Experience: A demonstrated track record of 3 to 5 years in social media management, either within an advertising agency or a corporate marketing department. Experience in the media or creative services sector is preferred.
  • Technical Knowledge: Full proficiency with major social media platforms (their algorithms, management tools, and advertising features). Knowledge of SEO fundamentals and analytics tools like Google Analytics is a strong plus.
  • Excellent Communication & Creative Skills: The ability to craft compelling copy in fluent and engaging English and Arabic, with a keen eye for selecting appropriate visual content.
  • Analytical Skills: The capability to interpret digital data and translate it into actionable insights and strategies.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
