Job Description and Key Responsibilities

- Performing and interpreting a comprehensive range of diagnostic imaging studies, including X-rays, Computed Tomography (CT) scans, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), and Ultrasound examinations.
- Providing accurate, detailed, and timely diagnostic reports to referring physicians to guide patient management and treatment plans effectively.
- Collaborating closely with radiographers, technologists, and other medical specialists to ensure integrated, high-quality patient care and optimal workflow.
- Strictly adhering to international and local protocols for radiation safety and protection for both patients and staff.
- Participating in clinical audits, multidisciplinary team meetings, and continuing medical education (CME) activities to promote evidence-based practice.
- Maintaining precise and confidential patient records in compliance with the regulations of the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention.
Essential Requirements and Qualifications

- Educational Background: A primary medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) followed by a recognized postgraduate specialization in Radiology (e.g., Arab Board, American Board, FRCR, or equivalent). Sub-specialty fellowship training in areas such as Musculoskeletal, Neuroradiology, or Pediatric Radiology will be highly advantageous.
- Licensing: Must possess a valid license to practice as a Specialist Radiologist from the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention or be eligible to obtain one. Current DHA (Dubai Health Authority) licensure is a significant plus.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in diagnostic radiology within a hospital setting, demonstrating a proven track record of clinical competence.
- Professional Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective teamwork and patient interaction. A meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and unwavering professional ethics are mandatory.
- Language Proficiency: Full professional proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is required. Proficiency in Arabic is a valuable asset for enhanced patient communication.
