Job Description

A Steward plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and hygienic operation of kitchen and food service areas, directly impacting the overall guest experience. The primary responsibilities for this role include:

• Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, dishwashing area, and all cooking and serving equipment.
• Efficiently and properly washing, drying, and organizing all kitchen utensils, pots, pans, dishes, and cooking appliances.
• Assisting in the cleaning and sanitization of work surfaces, ovens, floors, and other kitchen areas in compliance with strict safety protocols.
• Disposing of waste in the designated manner and ensuring regular cleaning of trash bins.
• Supporting the culinary (Chefs) and service staff by providing clean, ready-to-use equipment as needed.
• Assisting with receiving and storing kitchen supplies and deliveries when required.
• Strict adherence to all applicable hotel Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies.
