Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The Store Manager will bear the overall responsibility for successfully managing and operating an Al Arabia for Oud store, with a core focus on achieving sales targets and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Primary responsibilities include:

• Leadership & Supervision: Effectively leading the store team, including training and development, scheduling shifts, and fostering a positive and motivating work environment.
• Operations Management: Ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of all store operations, from opening and closing procedures to inventory management, stock level verification, and maintaining quality and cleanliness standards.
• Business Target Achievement: Developing and implementing plans to meet sales and profitability targets set by management. Analyzing sales reports and identifying growth opportunities.
• Customer Service: Guaranteeing the delivery of the highest standards of customer service and care, understanding clients' deep-seated needs regarding oud and fragrance products, thereby enhancing brand loyalty.
• Visual Merchandising & Marketing: Overseeing the attractive arrangement and display of products in-store in line with brand guidelines and assisting in the execution of local marketing initiatives.
• Financial Management: Contributing to budgeting, controlling operational expenses, and managing cash handling and basic financial procedures with accuracy.
• Communication & Reporting: Maintaining effective communication with senior management and other departments, and preparing regular reports on store performance.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

• Work Experience: Proven previous experience of at least 3 to 5 years in a Store Manager or Senior Sales Supervisor role within the luxury retail sector. Experience in fragrances, cosmetics, or luxury goods is highly preferred.
• Leadership Skills: Strong ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve collective goals.
• Sales & Service Skills: Excellent understanding of sales principles and customer service, with the ability to build long-term relationships.
• Organizational Skills: High degree of organization and ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze sales data and make informed decisions.
• Languages: Excellent command of spoken and written Arabic. Knowledge of English is an additional advantage.
• Technical Knowledge: Good familiarity with basic computer software and Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.
• Personal Attributes: Possesses a strong work ethic, reliability, a professional appearance, and a genuine passion for oud and fragrance products.
