Job Overview

The Supply Chain Manager will hold a pivotal role within the company's organizational structure, serving as the primary leader responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the end-to-end supply chain strategy. The core objective is to ensure the efficient flow of materials and goods from suppliers to end customers, while achieving the highest quality standards, reducing costs, and enhancing customer satisfaction. The Manager will work closely with Sales, Production, Finance, and Warehouse departments to achieve operational harmony.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce total costs.
• Oversee all aspects of supply chain management including planning, procurement, transportation, logistics, and inventory management.
• Lead contract negotiations with suppliers and logistics partners to secure the best terms and pricing.
• Manage and develop the supply chain team, providing leadership, guidance, and necessary training.
• Monitor and analyze supply chain performance using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and prepare regular reports for senior management.
• Identify and assess risks within the supply chain and develop mitigation plans.
• Ensure compliance with relevant local and international regulations governing logistics and customs operations.
• Explore and implement innovative technological solutions to enhance transparency and efficiency across the supply chain.
• Build and maintain strong strategic relationships with key suppliers and logistics service partners.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field. A Master’s degree will be a distinct advantage.
• A minimum of 7 to 10 years of practical experience in supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role (Manager level or equivalent).
• Proven experience managing supply chains in a fast-paced business environment, preferably within the Gulf region.
• In-depth knowledge of supply chain principles, global best practices, and the latest technological trends.
• Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive change.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in English (both spoken and written) is essential. Knowledge of Arabic will be a significant advantage.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and address complex challenges.
