Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The Technical Procurement Executive will be placed within the group's logistics or supply chain division and will be responsible for a range of critical tasks supporting strategic buying operations. The core responsibilities expected for this role include:

• Managing Technical Procurement Processes: Sourcing, evaluating, and supplying technical materials, equipment, and services required for the group's projects and operations, ensuring compliance with required technical specifications.
• Vendor Management: Researching and evaluating new suppliers, building strategic relationships with existing vendors, and conducting negotiations to secure the best terms regarding quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
• Documentation Preparation: Preparing Request for Quotations (RFQs), Purchase Orders (POs), and related contracts for technical procurements, ensuring their accuracy and completeness.
• Follow-up and Coordination: Tracking purchase orders with suppliers and contractors to ensure adherence to delivery schedules, and coordinating with internal departments such as engineering, projects, and warehousing.

• Compliance: Ensuring all procurement activities comply with the company's internal policies and procedures, as well as applicable local regulations and standards in the UAE.

Qualifications and Key Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this position, you should meet the following criteria:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or Engineering (an added advantage).
• Work Experience: Proven work experience of at least 3 to 5 years in procurement, with a preference for experience in technical, industrial, or project-related procurement. Experience in the UAE or Gulf market is a significant advantage.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel. Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for procurement (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is an important asset.
• Personal Skills:
