Territory Lead, Joint Replacement, Central Region

Job Description & Key Responsibilities
The Territory Lead will hold a pivotal role in leading and developing the Joint Replacement business within the designated geographical area (Central Region of KSA). This individual will be directly responsible for leading a team of sales and development representatives and orchestrating business strategy to achieve sales and growth targets. Core responsibilities include:
- Team Strategic Leadership: Guide, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve their maximum potential and performance. Develop individual and team action plans and monitor their execution.
- Business Development & Target Achievement: Own the responsibility for achieving sales targets and market share goals for the territory. Analyze data and performance to identify growth opportunities and address challenges.
- Strategic Relationship Building: Develop and strengthen relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), orthopedic surgeons, and leading hospitals and medical centers in the region. Understand their needs and present innovative solutions from Stryker's product portfolio.
- Planning & Coordination: Work closely with supporting departments such as Marketing, Logistics, and Technical Support to ensure customer requirements are met and exceptional service is delivered.
- Compliance & Knowledge: Ensure full compliance with all company regulatory, compliance policies, and ethical standards in the medical field. Maintain deep knowledge of company products, competition, and the local market landscape.
Qualifications & Essential Requirements
To be a successful candidate for this leadership role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Work Experience: Proven experience of at least 5-7 years in medical device sales, with a strong preference for direct experience in the orthopedics and joint replacement segment. Experience in leading and supervising sales teams is required.
- Educational Background: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Biomedical Engineering, Medical Sciences, Business Administration, Marketing). Advanced or specialized degrees in management or sales are an added advantage.
- Leadership Skills: Exceptional ability to lead, motivate, and manage the performance of an integrated team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both verbal and written) in English and Arabic.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of strategic sales principles, key account management, and market analysis. Ability to develop business plans and translate them into tangible results.
- Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of medical products and technologies used in joint replacement surgeries.
- Personal Attributes: The ideal candidate must be proactive, able to work under pressure, possess high negotiation and persuasion skills, and demonstrate absolute professional integrity.
