Training Manager - Amaken (Kuwait)

This role represents a critical leadership position within the Training and Development department. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs aimed at enhancing workforce skills and capabilities, thereby driving organizational growth and achieving the company's strategic objectives.

Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The Training Manager at Amaken will undertake a range of pivotal tasks, including but not limited to:

• Developing Training Strategy: Design and establish a comprehensive training plan aligned with the company's strategic vision and business goals.
• Leading the Training Team: Supervise, guide, and evaluate the performance of internal or external company trainers to ensure the delivery of high-quality training content.
• Identifying Training Needs: Conduct thorough analyses of skill gaps across various departments to identify training priorities and topics.
• Designing & Implementing Programs: Create innovative and effective training content, including workshops, seminars, and e-learning materials, and manage the seamless execution of these programs.
• Budget Management: Plan and control the budget allocated to the training department, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
• Evaluation & ROI Measurement: Develop mechanisms to assess the impact of training programs on employee performance and productivity rates, and prepare detailed reports for senior management.
• Researching Best Practices: Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in the training and development field to ensure the company remains at the forefront of competition.

Qualifications & Core Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this leadership opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications (such as CIPD, SHRM) is a strong advantage.
• Work Experience: A minimum of 5 to 7 years of practical experience in the training and development field, with proven experience of at least 3 years in a leadership role (Training Manager or Senior Supervisor).
• Technical Skills: Full proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and practical knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-authoring tools.
• Soft Skills: Excellent leadership and supervisory abilities, outstanding communication and presentation skills (written and verbal), and strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. The candidate must also be able to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Language: Fluency in both Arabic and English (spoken and written).
