Voice/Systems/Networks Lead Job in Kuwait

Bravura Information Technology Systems is actively recruiting for a key senior technical leadership role: a Voice/Systems/Networks Lead based in Kuwait. This position represents a prime opportunity for seasoned IT infrastructure professionals aspiring to take on a leadership role that directly impacts the company's technical operational strategy.

Job Overview and Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will bear the overall responsibility for overseeing the Voice, Systems, and Networks divisions within the company. This technical lead will be accountable for ensuring the efficiency, security, and continuity of these critical infrastructures that support all of the company's operational and service processes.

Core Expected Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Supervision: Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians specializing in voice, systems, and networks. This includes technical guidance, performance management, and professional development of team members.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop strategic plans to enhance and upgrade the existing voice, systems, and network infrastructure, aligning with the company's growth and expansion objectives.
  • Operations Management: Ensure the smooth and secure operation of all servers, operating systems, network equipment (routers, switches), and voice communication systems (such as PBX phone systems or unified communications solutions).
  • Cybersecurity: Work closely with the information security team to implement and enforce best security practices at the network and systems level, protecting the company's digital assets from threats.
  • Project Management: Lead development and upgrade technical projects from planning to delivery, adhering to set timelines and budgets.
  • Support and Troubleshooting: Act as the highest level of technical support (Escalation Point) for resolving complex and critical infrastructure issues, ensuring service continuity with high availability.
  • Budgeting and Procurement: Contribute to departmental budgeting and provide technical recommendations for purchasing new hardware, software, and services.

Required Qualifications and Skills

To be a suitable candidate for this leadership opportunity, you should meet the following criteria:

Academic Qualifications and Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Communications Engineering, or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 7 to 10 years of hands-on experience in managing and operating network and systems infrastructure.
  • Proven experience in leadership or supervisory roles for at least 3 years, with demonstrated ability to manage technical teams.
  • Globally recognized professional certifications are a significant advantage, such as: CCIE, CCNP, VMware VCP, Microsoft MCSE, or security certifications like CISSP.

Technical and Personal Skills:

  • Deep knowledge of networking concepts and hardware (Routing, Switching, Firewalls, Load Balancers).
  • Strong experience in managing operating systems (Windows Server, Linux) and Virtualization servers (e.g., VMware vSphere).
  • Understanding of traditional and modern voice communication systems (VoIP, Unified Communications).
  • Excellent leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate teams and lead change.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make quick, sound decisions during emergencies.
  • Strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills.
