Job Description

The Warehouse Executive will be placed within the company's e-commerce division and will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to high-quality standards. This role will specifically focus on the demands of online retail fulfillment, including individual order processing, dynamic inventory management, and ensuring timely order dispatch.

Key Expected Responsibilities:

• Operational Oversight: Manage and execute daily warehouse operations, including goods receipt, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and the use of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Ensure organized storage of goods to optimize space and accessibility.
• Order Fulfillment: Ensure e-commerce orders are processed accurately and promptly, involving product verification, secure packaging, and preparation for shipment according to customer service standards.
• Quality & Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce strict safety protocols throughout the warehouse. Ensure workplace cleanliness and organization (5S principles) and compliance with local regulations.
• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and guide warehouse staff to achieve productivity and efficiency targets.
• Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with transportation and delivery service providers to ensure timely order delivery.
• Reporting: Prepare reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and order accuracy rates for senior management.

Requirements & Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

• Experience: Proven work experience of 3-5 years in e-commerce warehouse management or a fast-paced logistics environment. Experience in the distribution or retail sector is a strong advantage.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Managerial Skills: Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with a strong attention to detail. Leadership abilities and the capacity to motivate a team.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze operational data and identify areas for improvement to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to stand, walk, and lift light to medium loads as required in a warehouse environment.
• Language: Proficiency in English for written and verbal communication. Knowledge of Arabic is a significant advantage in the Kuwaiti job market.
