Job Description & Responsibilities

The Warehouse Manager will bear the overall responsibility for the efficient management and operation of one of the company's warehouses. They will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where accuracy, speed, and quality are paramount. Key responsibilities include:

• Operational Oversight: Comprehensive day-to-day management of all warehouse activities, including goods receipt, storage, picking, packing, shipment preparation, and dispatch.
• Team Management: Leading and directing the warehouse team, assigning tasks, and ensuring a safe and productive work environment. This includes training, development, and performance evaluation.
• Inventory Control: Implementing and managing accurate inventory control systems, ensuring physical stock matches electronic records. They will ensure minimization of shrinkage or damage and provide regular reports on stock levels.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensuring warehouse operations comply with all local health and safety standards, as well as the company's internal quality standards.
• Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer service levels. This may involve suggesting improvements to warehouse layout or adopting new technologies.
• Internal Coordination: Working closely with Sales, Purchasing, and Logistics departments to ensure customer orders are fulfilled on time and to the required quality standard.
• Reporting: Preparing weekly and monthly performance reports on warehouse productivity, inventory accuracy, and other key performance indicators for senior management.

Requirements & Qualifications

To be a successful candidate for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

• Experience: Proven work experience of at least 5 years in warehouse management, with preference given to experience in the distribution, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), or hotel supplies sector.
• Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of warehouse management principles, inventory control systems (e.g., FIFO), and safety practices. Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Warehouse Management System (WMS) software is a significant advantage.
• Leadership Skills: Strong ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, with effective communication and delegation skills.
• Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure setting.
• Problem-Solving: A proactive mindset and the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
• Language Requirements: Proficiency in English for written and verbal communication. Knowledge of Arabic will be an additional advantage.
• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.

Job Location

The role will be based at Infinity Hotel Supplies' warehouse facilities in Dubai and/or Sharjah, requiring the successful candidate to be flexible to work at either location as per business needs.
