Job Description

The appointed Welders will be responsible for a range of technical and executional tasks on-site. Key responsibilities include:

• Performing various welding operations (such as Arc, TIG, MIG/MAG) according to specified technical standards and engineering drawings.
• Cutting and shaping metals (iron, stainless steel, aluminum, etc.) in preparation for welding.
• Visually inspecting weld joints to ensure quality, absence of defects, and compliance with safety and durability standards.
• Reading and interpreting technical blueprints, drawings, and work order specifications.
• Maintaining welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in safe and efficient working condition.
• Strictly adhering to all occupational health and safety procedures on-site, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Collaborating effectively with team members and supervisors to complete tasks within the designated schedule.

Requirements and Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Proven practical experience in welding (typically a minimum of 2-3 years in a relevant field).
• Hands-on proficiency in one or more core welding types used in the industry.
• Ability to read and understand basic technical drawings and blueprints.
