Overview

Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation (FinU) is one of the oldest Russian financial and economic expert training higher education institution. Founded in 1919, today it embraces all regions of Russia with its branch system, offering various programs at all levels of education: Secondary School graduate, Bachelor, Master, PhD, Post-Doctorate studies and business education. Financial University provides: - over 45 Bachelor degree programs (including 6 programs fully and 2 partly taught in English) - over 60 Master degree programs (including 5 programs fully and 6 partly taught in English) - over 20 postgraduate (PhD) programs - over 600 programs of vocational training, MBA, DBA, EMBA, MPA. There are most up-to-date and demanded courses among them, such as Smart IT Management for Digital Economy, Big Data Analysis, Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies. Over 25 FinU programs in higher education and vocational training are accredited by leading international agencies (ECBE, ACCA, ICAEW, IMA). Our university eagerly participates in international projects and initiatives in education and research (including Erasmus+, FIRST+ etc.) and maintains its collaboration with national educational agencies like DAAD, CampusFrance, NUFFIC Neso.   Today, the FinU is a participant of the United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) initiative, a member of the European University Association (EUA), the European Association of Law Faculties, the World Tourism Organization, the Association of Economic Universities of South and Eastern Europe and the Black Sea Region and other organizations. The University is also a proactive participant of the EU Erasmus + Program.   FinU has more than 170 partner universities from 65 countries on its international cooperation map. Students can select different options of studying abroad (over 60 partner HEIs for academic mobility programs) and try their luck in international scholarships. FinU implements over 30 double degree programs in collaboration with leading overseas universities. The university has been elaborating and implementing its customized short courses on Russian language, history, culture and current economic trends for international students from the EU, Asia and the USA.   FinU structure embraces 9 Faculties (including Pre-University Training Faculty for international students) with more than 2700 professors, researchers and staff members. Almost 2000 of them hold a PhD or Doctor of science academic degree. FinU annually invites top international experts to deliver lectures and master classes within the framework of Visiting Professor program.
