Overview

Ibn tofail University is created by dahir 1.89.144 of 22 Rabiae 1st, 1410 (October 23rd, 1989), it is located in the center of the region of Rabat-Salé-Kenitra which is well known for being one of the richest regions of Morocco, especially for its assets in economic growth areas (agriculture, food, environment, industry, technology, etc…). Given its potentials for such economic development, Ibn Tofail University will be required to play a leading part in sustaining these sectors and high value-added segments.Faculties consists of the faculty of arts and humanities (1985), the faculty of sciences (1985) and the faculty of law, economic and social sciences (1991).There is also a National School of Business and Management (2005), a National school of Applied Sciences (2008), a graduate school of technology (2017), a National Higher School of Chemistry (2019), and a Higher School of Education and Training (2019). Ibn tofail University include eight common services:University Center of Analysis, Expertise, Technology transfer and IncubatorUniversity Training CenterUniversity center of computer ResourcesLanguages centerUniversity center of PatrimonyUniversity Center of Career Development and InsertionMedico-social CenterUniversity Library.All the institutions within the University are equipped with excellent facilities: auditoriums, laboratories, meeting rooms, multimedia equipment rooms, video conferencing, etc…Through its structure, Ibn Tofail University conducts an industrious policy of opening into its socio-economic environment to develop particularly:Collaboration with industry sectors and companiesPromotion of employability conditionsIdentification of the partners research and training needsThe appraisal of the results obtained by the research laboratories of the UniversityDissemination of services offered at and by the UniversityAwareness of the award winners of the University about the entrepreneurshipOrganizing encounters of socioeconomic operators and researchers.
