Overview

King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) is a top-ranked institution in the Arab region, known for its academic quality and research impact. Founded in 1963, KFUPM offers 90+ science and technology programs across emerging fields, such as AI, quantum computing, bioengineering, and renewable energy. Our students, many of whom come from among the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s top 2% high school graduates, benefit from a globally focused, English-based curriculum and an innovation-driven campus environment. With over 1,000 researchers, 20+ research centers, and two research consortia, our work addresses real-world needs aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
