Overview

Technical University of Košice (TUKE) is a public institution offering education in technical, economic, and artistic fields across all three levels of higher education for both domestic and international students in Slovak and English.  TUKE consists of nine faculties (eight in Košice and one in Prešov).  TUKE is a modern educational and scientific-research institution with an international character. It provides high-quality university education with excellent employability in both the Slovak and international labor markets. The university offers instruction in unique laboratories, modern teaching methods, an individualized approach to students, support for the personal development of talented students, and opportunities to engage in research, development, and practical projects during their studies.  Students can spend part of their studies abroad at prestigious global universities thanks to TUKE's involvement in the European University ULYSSEUS and the extensive Erasmus program. With a total area of 43 hectares and three campuses in two regional capitals, TUKE is among the largest universities in Slovakia. By integrating its nine faculties with diverse specializations, TUKE creates a unique environment for thousands of students, offering instruction in state-of-the-art laboratories, innovative teaching methods, and an individualized student-focused approach.
