Overview

Created in 1993, Universidad Espíritu Santo has always been a private, non-profit institution. With a campus in Samborondón, Guayas, Ecuador, nowadays has become an intellectual powerhouse, with an excellent reputation for the quality of its teaching and research and its connections with local companies. It has superb facilities with informatic classrooms and medical laboratories with the latest state-of-the-art equipment and a very modern sports complex.UEES’s educational model includes advanced methods of bilingual teaching in undergraduate and postgraduate programs and distance education. UEES offers courses on 41 programs that cover different subject areas. There are schools of Medicine, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Arts, Business Administration, Law, Education, Social Sciences, Environment, Health, Journalism, and TIC, etc.   UEES has international agreements with over 200 outstanding institutions of all continents, giving students access to a wide student exchange program, international internships, academic articulation, networks, research articulation, etc. Students have access to theState University of New York in New Paltz, Georgetown University EEUU, Sciences Po-France, Griffith University Australia, Vancouver Island University Canada among others.The National System of Institutional Evaluation for Higher Education classified UEES with the highest rating, being a “Category A” institution.
