
Universidad Torcuato Di Tella (UTDT) is a private non-profit institution founded in 1991 by the Di Tella Foundation and the Instituto Torcuato Di Tella, with support from the international philanthropic community. The mission of the University –which opened its doors on March 11th, 1992– is to educate new generations of academic, social, political and business leaders, and to advance research and scholarship in the arts and sciences.The University is organized in schools, centers, and departments, with graduate and undergraduate programs in humanities and social sciences. There are nine academic units: Arts, Architecture, Business, Economics, Government, History, Law, Mathematics and Statistics and Political Science and International Relations.The University offers 11 undergraduate degrees in: Law, Architecture, Business Administration, Business Economics, Design, Economics, International Studies, Political Science and Government, Social Sciences, History and Digital Technology.It also offers 3 Doctoral Programs, 18 Masters and 5 Certificates in: Business Administration, Finance, Management + Analytics, Econometrics, Economics, Applied Economics, Criminal Law, Law & Economics, Tax Law, Education Administration, Education Policy, History, Journalism, Political Science, International Studies, Public Policy, Urban Economics, History & Culture of Architecture & Urbanism.The Business School, the Law School and the Government School run a variety of Executive Education programs each year. The School of Architecture and Urban Studies and the Art Department also offer professional clinics.The faculty consists of 93 full-time professors, 98% of whom hold a graduate degree. UTDT is a highly recognized research university in Latin America and its library is among the most complete libraries devoted to the social sciences in Argentina.Approximately 47% of the undergraduate students receive financial aid.
