Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship is a fully funded scholarship for international students all over the world. The Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship programme was established by the Hungarian Government to promote the internationalisation of the Hungarian higher education and to attract top foreign students from all around the world who can establish personal and professional attachments to Hungary while enjoying high quality education in the heart of Europe.
While studying in Hungary, the students will also enjoy affordable living costs with great benefit-cost ratio, a safe and friendly living environment with convenient public transport, a vibrant cultural life, and several UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Stipendium Hungaricum, being the most prestigious higher education scholarship programme of the Hungarian Government, offers a wide range of courses for international students of excellent academic track record. Founded by the Hungarian Government in 2013, the programme is supervised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade and managed by the Tempus Public Foundation.
It is based on bilateral education agreements between Hungary and the governments of the sending countries, and is already available on five continents in almost 80 countries and territories, attracting more than 5000 international students each year. Applicants are offered more than 600 full degree programmes, covering all higher education fields at all degree levels, including part-time and doctoral programmes.

Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship | Funding:
Bachelor’s, master’s, one-tier master’s and non-degree programmes:
Tuition-free education – exemption from the payment of tuition fee
Monthly stipend – non-degree, bachelor’s, master’s and one-tier master’s level: monthly amount of HUF 43,700 (cca EUR 120) contribution to the living expenses in Hungary, for 12 months a year, until the completion of studies
Accommodation contribution – free dormitory place or a contribution of HUF 40,000/month to accommodation costs for the whole duration of the scholarship period (Please note that if the student does not live in the dormitory, the HUF 40,000/month is a contribution to that rental costs, and in bigger cities – especially in the capital city – this contribution would not cover the full amount of rental costs.)
Medical insurance – health care services according to the relevant Hungarian legislation (Act LXXX of 1997, national health insurance card) and supplementary medical insurance for up to HUF 65 000 (cca. 180 EUR) a year/person.
Doctoral programmes:
Tuition-free education – exemption from the payment of tuition fee
Monthly stipend – doctoral level: according to the current Hungarian legislation, the monthly amount of scholarship is HUF 140,000 (cca EUR 390 for the first phase of education (4 semesters) and HUF 180,000 (cca EUR 500) for the second phase (4 semesters) – for 12 months a year, until completion of studies.
Accommodation contribution – free dormitory place or a contribution of HUF 40,000/month to accommodation costs for the whole duration of the scholarship period (Please note that if the student does not live in the dormitory, then the HUF 40,000/month is a contribution to that rental costs, and in bigger cities – especially in the capital city – this contribution would not cover the full amount of rental costs.)
Medical insurance – health care services according to the relevant Hungarian legislation (Act LXXX of 1997, national health insurance card) and supplementary medical insurance for up to HUF 65 000 (cca. 180 EUR) a year/person.
Please bear in mind that these provisions are only a contribution to the living expenses of the Scholarship Holders.

Application submission:
The annual call for applications for DSU scholarships is published in the month of July on the DSU Toscana website. For a.y. 2023/2024 the deadline for the DSU Scholarship application is 6 September 2023.
For the first year of application, the ranking only considers the annual family income. For subsequent years, the list also takes into account academic merit.
Result and final ranking
The DSU draws up a single ranking list including both foreign and Italian students. Provisional ranking lists are usually confirmed every year by the end of September. Final rankings are usually approved every year by the end of November. The results of grants allocation will be published at www.dsu.toscana.it and will be available on the students' personal area. No personal written communication shall be provided to applicants concerning results.
Incompatibility
DSU grant holders can also benefit from other merit-based grants allocated by the University of Pisa only in the first academic year, provided that the benefit amount does not exceed € 6,000.

Scholarship Amount
Successful applicants will receive a scholarship of up to €12,000. This will be distributed monthly over the first three academic years of the bachelor’s or joint bachelor’s and master’s degree study programme, with a monthly payment of €400. The scholarship covers ten months each year, from September to June.
ServiceScape Scholarship 2023
The ServiceScape Scholarship 2023 is a $1,000 scholarship that is open to students who are enrolled or will be enrolled in an accredited college, university, or trade school in 2023. Financial Support for Cost of Attendance
Knight-Hennessy scholars receive funding for up to three years for any graduate degree(s) at Stanford. This funding applies to the degree(s) to which scholars are preparing to enroll at the time of scholar selection.
During each of the first three years of graduate study, Knight-Hennessy scholars receive several types of funding:
