The maximum coverage period of any scholarship is four years, or upon graduation, whichever is sooner. In some cases, English language requirements are also included. It is not necessary to re-apply for a scholarship as long as the scholarship maintenance criteria (outlined in the details of each scholarship section) are met.
The scholarship application process begins after a student is formally admitted to ADU and assigned a unique student ID number. This ID number is used to securely log in to a university account that has a section for Financial Aid and Scholarships.
As student information, including academic records, has already been processed by the university upon admission, any scholarships that the student is eligible for will appear on their account page. The student may choose to fill out the online application for any scholarship that appears here, as he/she qualifies for these scholarships based on merit. The application is completed with the appropriate details filled in by the student, along with the uploading of any required documents, and then is submitted online.

Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Scholarship 2022-23 is a fully funded scholarship for international students. These scholarships are available for masters and PhD. These scholarships will provide monthly stipend of € 850 for masters and € 1,200 for PhD and cover tuition fee and accommodation.
The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) is a political foundation, inspired by Christian democratic values, committed to fostering democracy and the rule of law, to implementing social and market-economic structures and to promoting human rights in Europe and worldwide.
In line with these principles, The Foundation awards scholarships to international master students and graduates in order to enable study and research at universities in Germany. This way, They actively promote intercultural dialogues, the formation of international networks as well as the internationalization of universities and science.
After finishing their studies in Germany, the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung expects its former scholars to contribute actively to the development of their home country’s relations with the Federal Republic of Germany.

Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Scholarship | Funding:
scholarship program consists of financial assistance, personal guidance, a wide seminar program and access to the worldwide KAS-network. After the successful completion of studies, they remain in contact with their alumni and involve them in national and international activities.
The duration and level of funding varies for different types of studies. Graduates (master or postgraduate students) receive a monthly scholarship of € 861. The standard funding period is two years. After having obtained unconditional admission to doctoral studies at a German university, PhD-students receive a monthly scholarship of € 1.200. The standard funding period for PhD scholars is three years. They also fund research stays in Germany for the minimum of three semesters.
Beside the monthly stipend, they offer multiple subsidies for their scholars. Upon request, they subsidize health care insurance up to the amount of € 120 per month. They also offer a family allowance of € 276 provided that you and your spouse live together in one place in Germany for at least three months and that his/her income does not exceed the amount of € 450 per month. Additionally, they grant children’s allowance of € 194 per month for children living with you in Germany. Prerequisites are the submission of an official German translation of the child’s birth certificate and the official rejection of your demand for public child allowance.
In addition, PhD-scholars can apply for financial assistance for research stays abroad. However, they do not fund participation in congresses or symposia.
Fees resulting from courses at the university in Germany that are directly related to your studies can be refunded up to the amount of € 1.500 per semester. However, they do not refund regular semester fees resulting from enrollment or annual re-registration.

Fulbright-Fogarty Fellowships In Public Health:
This award will not be open for the 2022-23 competition.
The Fulbright-Fogarty Fellowships are offered through a partnership between the Fulbright Program and the Fogarty International Center of the U.S. National Institutes of Health. These awards were established to promote the expansion of research in public health and clinical research in resource-limited settings.
The Fogarty International Center, NIH, will provide support to the research training site and may provide orientation for the fellows at the NIH. In addition, NIH will provide a pre-departure orientation for selected Fellows in Washington, DC.
To participate in the Fulbright-Fogarty Fellowships in Public Health, the applicant must be a U.S. citizen and:
Be enrolled in graduate or medical school. Applicants who hold a doctorate are ineligible.
Have sufficient proficiency in the host language to carry out the project required.
Other basic requirements and process for applying for the Fulbright-Fogarty Program are the same as for any Fulbright U.S. Student Study/Research Grant.
Fulbright-National Geographic Storytelling Fellowship
The Fulbright–National Geographic Storytelling Fellowship provides a unique platform for American Fulbright students to develop global narratives and discuss commonalities across borders around a common issue or theme. Trained, supported, and mentored by National Geographic Editors during their grants, grantees will use new media platforms to help build ties across cultures while enhancing mutual understanding. The content that they produce will be featured online in various places, including, most prominently, a blog hosted by National Geographic.

Students receiving a term / yearly GPA less than 3.25 from 5.00 will not be granted any discounts and will be required to pay full tuition fees for the upcoming academic term / year. They may attempt to raise their GPA once again to receive any of the discount rates.
If the term / yearly student GPA falls short of the required GPA to maintain the discount rate, then it will be transferred automatically to the discount rate granted for the new term / yearly GPA; and the student can later attempt to increase their term / annual GPA to obtain a higher discount rate.
The student shall benefit from the discounts granted in the Academic Excellence Scholarship throughout their enrollment in the University in the full-time academic study system according to the official academic years of the program and a total number of study hours of no less than (12) credit hours per academic semester. Note that the periods of withdrawal from terms / academic years are calculated as part of the duration of the study system period; and terms / years postponed by the student are not calculated.
Students may benefit from the Academic Excellence Scholarship upon fulfillment of other conditions required to obtain the scholarship, which are:

The scholarships offer foreign graduates from development and newly industrialised countries from all disciplines and with at least two years' professional experience the chance to take a postgraduate or Master's degree at a state or state-recognised German university, and in exceptional cases to take a doctoral degree, and to obtain a university qualification (Master's/PhD) in Germany.

Individual scholarships exclusively for Postgraduate courses in Germany that are listed on the "List of all Postgraduate courses with application deadlines 2023/24".

Duration of the funding
12 to 42 months (dependent on study programme)
Value of DAAD Scholarship:
Depending on academic level, monthly payments of 861 euros for graduates or 1,200 euros for doctoral candidates
Payments towards health, accident and personal liability insurance cover
Travel allowance, unless these expenses are covered by the home country or another source of funding
Under certain circumstances, scholarship holders may receive the following additional benefits:
Monthly rent subsidy
Monthly allowance for accompanying members of family
Selection
Candidates fulfil the necessary academic requirements and can be expected to successfully complete a study programme in Germany (above-average result for first academic exam – top performance third, language skills)
Candidates have a Bachelor degree (usually a four-year course) in an appropriate subject
Candidates have at least two years' professional experience
Candidates can prove their motivation is development-related and be expected to take on social responsibility and initiate and support processes of change in their personal and professional environment after their training/scholarship
