Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will play a crucial role within the company's finance and internal audit department, primarily focusing on internal audit activities to enhance governance and transparency. Key responsibilities are expected to include:

• Assisting in the planning and execution of the annual and periodic internal audit programs.
• Examining and analyzing financial records, accounting documents, and transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies and relevant accounting standards (Saudi standards and IFRS).
• Evaluating the effectiveness of internal control systems, identifying potential weaknesses and risks, and proposing recommendations for improvement.
• Preparing internal audit reports that summarize findings, observations, and recommendations for senior management.
• Reviewing procurement, inventory, and expense processes to ensure efficiency and prevent waste.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable tax regulations (such as VAT) and laws in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Collaborating with other departments (e.g., Procurement, Sales, Operations) to understand processes and provide advisory support regarding financial controls.
• Assisting in the annual physical inventory count and fixed asset verification processes.
• Supporting external audit processes as needed by providing requested data and documentation.

Qualifications & Essential Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this position, you should meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. A professional certification such as CPA, CIA, or ACCA will be a significant competitive advantage.
• Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of practical experience in accounting or auditing, with demonstrated experience in internal audit work. Experience in the industrial or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector will be highly regarded.
• Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local practices. A strong grasp of internal control frameworks and risk management.
• Personal Skills: High integrity and professional ethics. Strong analytical and investigative skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent written and verbal communication and reporting skills.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as SAP or Oracle.
