Optometrist Job in Dubai (DHA Licensed)

Job Description and Responsibilities
The Optometrist will be responsible for providing a comprehensive range of vision care services within the clinic. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive and diagnostic eye examinations to assess visual health and prescribe eyeglasses and contact lenses.
- Diagnosing vision disorders and common eye problems such as myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, and presbyopia.
- Providing appropriate advice and recommendations to patients regarding vision correction options (eyeglasses, contact lenses) and eye care.
- Working collaboratively with the clinic's medical team to ensure integrated patient care.
- Maintaining accurate patient medical records and adhering to the highest standards of privacy and confidentiality.
- Full compliance with the professional regulations and guidelines set by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and other UAE healthcare authorities.

Key Requirements and Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Academic Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Optometry from a recognized university.
- Professional License: Possession of a valid Dubai Health Authority (DHA) license as an Optometrist. This is a mandatory and essential requirement.
- Work Experience: Proven practical experience in the optometry field, with preference given to those with prior experience working in clinics or hospitals in the Gulf or Middle East region.
- Language Skills: Excellent spoken and written Arabic language proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively with Arabic-speaking patients. Proficiency in English is a strong additional advantage.
- Personal Skills: Excellent interpersonal communication skills, empathy for patients, attention to detail, and the ability to work within a team.
- Technical Knowledge: Good familiarity with the latest equipment and technologies used in eye examination and diagnosis.
