Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The Assistant Financial Controller will play a fundamental role in supporting the finance department's management and contributing to its stability and growth. Key responsibilities will include:

• Financial Oversight Support: Provide direct support to the Financial Controller in managing all aspects of the company's financial operations.
• Financial Reporting: Contribute to the preparation of accurate and timely periodic financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual) in line with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Internal Control & Compliance: Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining robust internal financial control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Participate in the budgeting and financial forecasting process, monitor actual performance against approved budgets, and prepare variance analyses.
• Reconciliation & Audit: Oversee the reconciliation of key accounts, ensure the accuracy of accounts payable and receivable records, and facilitate internal and external audit processes.
• Financial Performance Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, providing strategic recommendations to management.
• Team Management: Responsibilities may include supervising and mentoring junior accounting team members to ensure workflow efficiency.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements
