Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The Assistant Manager - Business Development will be integrated into a dynamic team focused on driving the strategic growth of the company. The role will center on assisting in identifying and developing new business opportunities and strategic partnerships that support the overarching vision of the project. Key responsibilities for this position are expected to include:

  • Assisting in conducting market research and analyzing industry trends to identify new business opportunities within tourism, hospitality, leisure, and luxury retail sectors.
  • Supporting the Business Development Manager in preparing and analyzing financial and economic feasibility studies for proposed opportunities and projects.
  • Contributing to the development of business proposals, investment presentations, and marketing materials targeted at potential partners and investors.
  • Aiding in managing the due diligence process for new strategic partnerships and alliances.
  • Participating in negotiations and drafting preliminary Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and agreements under supervision.

Qualifications and Essential Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. A Master's in Business Administration (MBA) or a relevant postgraduate qualification is a strong advantage.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, strategic sales, investment, or project management, with proven experience in the tourism/hospitality sector, major real estate developments, or infrastructure.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint). Knowledge of research and data analysis tools.
  • Personal Skills:
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both Arabic and English (essential).
    • Ability to analyze complex data and derive actionable insights.
    • Strategic thinking and the ability to see the bigger picture.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
