Job Overview

The Assistant Manager for Operational Readiness will play a critical role in the final preparatory phase for launching Qiddiya's facilities. Working closely with senior management and cross-functional departments, the incumbent will ensure all operations, systems, and teams are fully prepared for the grand opening, guaranteeing a seamless and exceptional visitor experience from day one.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Assist in developing and implementing comprehensive operational readiness plans for various facilities and services within the Qiddiya project.
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, logistics, security, and hospitality departments to review and assess readiness status.
• Contribute to identifying operational gaps and potential risks, developing proactive mitigation plans.
• Oversee the execution of operational trials and mock runs to test readiness under simulated real-world conditions.
• Prepare periodic reports and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) on readiness levels for management review.
• Support the development of standardized operational policies and procedures (SOPs) to ensure efficiency and consistency.
• Assist in training and enabling operational teams to ensure full understanding of responsibilities and processes prior to launch.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
• A minimum of 5 to 7 years of proven experience in operational readiness, project management, or operations, preferably within major tourism, entertainment, or integrated resort sectors.
• In-depth knowledge of operational readiness principles and risk management.
• Excellent analytical and proactive problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex challenges.
• Strong capability in strategic planning and detailed execution.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills (both verbal and written) in English and Arabic.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Leadership skills and the ability to work within a team while managing relationships with diverse stakeholders.
