Job Description

The Beautician will be an essential part of the hotel's Spa or Wellness center team. The primary focus will be on delivering a wide range of beauty and aesthetic treatments to guests, ensuring a luxurious and comfortable experience that lives up to the Marriott brand reputation.

Key responsibilities and duties are expected to include:

• Providing high-quality professional beauty services for the face and body to guests of all genders, adhering to hotel standards and global health protocols.
• Conducting initial skin analysis for guests and offering appropriate advice on treatments and products suited to their skin type and needs.
• Performing a variety of treatments such as deep facial cleansing, facial and body cosmetic massages, hair removal using various methods, and hand & foot care (manicure & pedicure).
• Maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and sterilization in the work area and for all tools and equipment used.
• Managing appointments and accurately recording services provided.
• Contributing to the department's sales targets by recommending additional services or suitable skincare products to guests.
• Participating in the development of the spa service menu and suggesting new, innovative treatments.
• Maintaining product inventory, necessary reports, and informing the supervisor of any needs.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this position, you should meet the following criteria:

• A recognized certificate or diploma in Cosmetology, Aesthetic Medicine, or a related field.
• Proven practical experience of at least 2 to 3 years in the beauty field, with preference given to experience in luxury hotels or prestigious health resorts (Spas).
• In-depth knowledge of various beauty techniques, skin types, skincare products, and the latest trends in the field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (Arabic and English preferred) with the ability to deliver exceptional customer service.
• A pleasant, friendly personality capable of creating an atmosphere of relaxation and trust for guests.
• Accuracy, attention to detail, and personal & professional hygiene.
• The ability to work within a team and in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work during operational hours, including weekends and holidays as required by the hotel business.
