BIM Manager - Elegancia Arabia (Riyadh)

Job Description & Responsibilities

The appointed BIM Manager at Elegancia Arabia will be responsible for leading, developing, and implementing the company's or major projects' BIM strategy. He/She will be the primary authority ensuring the optimal use of BIM technologies to enhance collaboration, reduce errors, and improve efficiency across the entire project lifecycle.

Key expected responsibilities include:

• Leading the development and implementation of the company/project BIM framework and strategy.
• Managing and mentoring a team of BIM engineers and coordinators.
• Establishing and enforcing BIM standards and protocols (e.g., BEP - BIM Execution Plan) to ensure consistency and quality across all disciplines and projects.
• Overseeing the creation, management, and coordination of integrated 3D models among various stakeholders (Architectural, Structural, MEP).
• Ensuring seamless integration between BIM models and project management/document control systems.
• Providing training and technical support to engineering and execution teams on BIM tools and methodologies.
• Coordinating with suppliers, contractors, and consultants to ensure their compliance with required BIM standards.
• Evaluating and reporting on BIM process performance and proposing continuous improvements.
• Staying abreast of the latest developments and technologies in the Building Information Modeling field.

Qualifications & Requirements

Elegancia Arabia is looking for a highly qualified candidate with a proven track record in BIM management within a complex construction project environment.

Essential Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• A minimum of 8 to 10 years of practical experience in Building Information Modeling, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role as a "BIM Manager" or "Senior BIM Coordinator."
• Deep proficiency in leading BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360/Acc, and coordination/clash detection tools.
• Comprehensive knowledge of global BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650) and industry best practices.
• Proven experience in team management and the development of BIM protocols and standards.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• The ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English. Knowledge of Arabic is a strong advantage.
