Business Development Executive - Networking Brand

A prominent player in the Networking Brand and technology sector within the dynamic UAE market is seeking to hire an ambitious and driven Business Development Executive. This exciting role, based in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi, presents an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to build a career in business development and sales within the fast-growing technology industry.

Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving growth and increasing market share for the networking brand. The core responsibilities will be hands-on and commercially focused, including:

  • Developing and Executing Sales Strategies: Formulating and implementing effective sales plans to achieve financial targets and promote the brand's networking products and services.
  • Identifying New Opportunities and Lead Generation: Proactively hunting for new business opportunities in the market, identifying potential clients, and building a strong, sustainable sales pipeline.
  • Managing the Full Sales Cycle: Managing client relationships from initial prospecting, conducting discovery meetings, preparing commercial proposals, negotiating contracts, through to final deal closure.
  • Building Strong Business Relationships: Developing and maintaining long-term strategic relationships with existing and potential clients, deeply understanding their needs to propose suitable solutions.
  • Market and Competitor Analysis: Monitoring local market trends in the UAE, analyzing competitor movements, and providing valuable reports and feedback to the management team for strategy adjustment.
  • Participation in Industry Events: Representing the company at relevant trade shows, conferences, and workshops in the networking and technology space across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and the Gulf region.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Working closely with internal marketing, technical support, and logistics teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience and deliver integrated service.

Qualifications & Essential Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this opportunity, you should meet the following criteria:

  • Proven Experience: A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in business development or sales, with a strong preference for candidates with a background in the technology, networking, telecommunications, or IT solutions sector.
  • Technical Knowledge: A good understanding of fundamental networking concepts (e.g., LAN, WAN, cybersecurity, cloud solutions) will be a significant advantage.
  • Commercial Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion abilities. You must have strong analytical skills to understand client requirements and propose valuable solutions.
  • Personality: You should be a self-starter, proactive, and self-motivated, capable of working independently as well as part of a team. Flexibility and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is required. Knowledge of Arabic will be a strong additional asset for dealing with the local market.
  • Mobility: The candidate must be willing to travel between Dubai and Abu Dhabi and attend client meetings across the Emirates.
  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
