Job Description and Responsibilities

The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the company's commercial growth. The role extends beyond traditional sales, focusing on building long-term strategic partnerships and delivering integrated infrastructure solutions.

Key expected responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing a comprehensive sales and business development strategy for the data center sector in the UAE and regional market.
  • Identifying and targeting potential clients from large enterprises, Internet Service Providers (ISPs), government entities, and tech startups requiring hosting and cloud infrastructure services.
  • Leading the full sales cycle, from prospecting and initial outreach to preparing technical and commercial proposals, and closing deals.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with C-level executives and IT managers at client organizations.
  • Analyzing market trends and competition to identify new business opportunities and develop value propositions based on client needs.
  • Working closely with engineering, marketing, and service teams to deliver tailored solutions and ensure post-sales customer satisfaction.
  • Meeting and exceeding set sales and revenue targets on a quarterly and annual basis.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this leadership role, you must meet the following requirements:

Essential Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
  • Proven experience of at least 5 to 7 years in business development or technical sales, with a strong focus on the data center, server, cloud infrastructure, or networking solutions sector.
  • Deep understanding of data center-related technologies such as cooling, physical security, power usage effectiveness (PUE), and interconnectivity.
  • A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a team spirit.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken). Knowledge of Arabic will be a significant advantage.
