• Ingredient Preparation: Washing, chopping, peeling, and accurately weighing food ingredients in preparation for cooking, adhering to set standards.
• Assisting in Basic Cooking: Assisting in the preparation of simple dishes, basic sauces, and appetizers under guidance.
• Maintaining Hygiene and Safety: Strict adherence to personal hygiene and workstation cleanliness standards (HACCP principles). Ensuring proper storage of ingredients and maintaining clean equipment and work surfaces before and after each shift.
• Organization and Stock Control: Assisting in organizing storage refrigerators and the kitchen pantry. Informing the supervisor of any shortages in supplies or equipment.
• Teamwork: Collaborating effectively with all kitchen team members to ensure smooth service flow, especially during peak hours.
• Learning and Development: Demonstrating a strong willingness to learn and develop technical culinary skills.

Required Qualifications and Skills

To be a successful candidate for this position, you should meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualification: High school diploma as a minimum. A diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts or Restaurant Management is preferred.
• Experience: Previous practical experience (6 months to 1 year) in a similar role (Commi 2 or Kitchen Helper) within a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred. Recent graduates from culinary institutes with high enthusiasm and a willingness to learn may also be considered.
