Job Description & Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be an integral part of the construction team responsible for dry utilities projects within an airport or airfield environment. Dry utilities typically encompass electrical networks, communications, lighting, security and surveillance systems, data networks, and other MEP systems not related to water or sewage. The role operates in a high-stakes, operational environment demanding precision and strict adherence to the highest safety and quality standards.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing field supervision for the construction and installation of dry utility networks within the airfield area.
- Monitoring work quality to ensure compliance with approved technical specifications, design drawings, contract requirements, and local/international safety standards.
- Coordinating with contractors, suppliers, consultant engineers, and management teams to ensure work progresses according to the established schedule.
- Preparing daily and weekly reports on work progress, project status, and any potential challenges or risks.
- Participating in the review of technical drawings and shop drawings prior to execution.
- Ensuring all site personnel adhere to strict airfield-specific health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures.
- Assisting in resolving technical issues that arise during construction phases.

- Proven prior experience working on airport or airfield projects is a fundamental requirement and a significant advantage.
- In-depth knowledge of international codes and standards for airfield utility construction (e.g., ICAO standards).
- Strong ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and schematics.
- Proficiency in relevant computer software (e.g., MS Office, project management tools).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Arabic (written and spoken).
