Expected Key Responsibilities:

- Logistical and Administrative Support: Providing comprehensive administrative and logistical support to the procurement team, including tracking Purchase Orders (POs) and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services.
- Vendor and Relationship Management: Assisting in the evaluation and registration of new vendors, maintaining an accurate database of approved suppliers within the oil and gas field.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensuring all purchasing activities comply with company internal policies and procurement regulations, maintaining accurate and well-documented records.
- Communication and Liaison: Acting as an effective liaison between the procurement team and other internal departments (such as Engineering, Projects, Finance) as well as external vendors and contractors.
- Reporting: Assisting in preparing reports on procurement performance and relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Requirements and Qualifications

Educational Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Engineering (preferably Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering).
- Professional certifications in procurement or supply chain (e.g., CIPS) would be a strong added advantage.
Required Experience:
- Proven work experience of at least 3 to 5 years in a procurement or procurement coordination role, preferably within the oil & gas, energy, or heavy engineering industries.
- In-depth understanding of procurement processes and the procure-to-pay lifecycle.
- Experience in dealing with industry-specific technical systems and equipment.
Personal and Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is essential as the primary business language in the sector. Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with various stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and administrative abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems like SAP or Oracle.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and follow-up.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently.
