Customer Service Representative - Starlink Qatar

Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The Customer Service Representative will play a pivotal role as the face and first voice of the company to its customers. You will be responsible for building and strengthening positive relationships with Starlink users in Qatar, contributing to brand reputation and ensuring customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing Technical & Service Support: Responding to customer inquiries via multiple channels such as phone, email, and live chat, offering quick and effective solutions for internet connectivity, billing, or general service issues.
  • Handling Complaints & Conflict Resolution: Managing cases of dissatisfaction or complex complaints with professionalism and patience, working to resolve them according to company policies with the aim of turning a negative experience into a positive one.
  • Educating & Guiding Customers: Onboarding new customers and guiding existing users on how to set up and use Starlink equipment, providing tips to enhance their user experience.
  • Documentation & Updates: Accurately logging details of all customer interactions in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and following up on cases until final resolution.
  • Relaying Customer Feedback: Acting as a liaison between the customer and the technical or administrative teams, conveying feedback and reports on recurring issues or suggestions for improvement.
  • Achieving Performance Targets: Striving to meet defined performance metrics related to customer satisfaction, average resolution time, and service quality.

Qualifications & Core Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

  • Educational Qualification: A diploma or bachelor's degree in any field (preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field).
  • Experience: Proven previous experience of at least 1-2 years in customer service or technical support, especially within the telecommunications or technology sector. Experience in a call center environment is a strong advantage.
  • Language Skills: Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken. Arabic language proficiency is a significant advantage given the local market context.
  • Personal & Technical Skills:
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
    • High ability for active listening and empathizing with customer needs.
    • Problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
    • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.
