Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will occupy a central role in driving and executing the firm's growth strategies, with a core focus on enhancing client value and fostering long-term partnerships. Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Growth Leadership: Develop and lead comprehensive growth plans and initiatives for a defined portfolio of clients or market sectors, aligning with EY's broader strategic objectives for the MENA region and the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strategic, high-trust relationships with new and existing key clients. Develop a deep understanding of their business needs and challenges to deliver tailored solutions from EY's extensive service lines (Assurance, Tax, Consulting, Strategy and Transactions).
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, lead the pursuit process from origination and negotiation through to closure. Develop compelling proposals and competitive pitches.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration: Work closely with cross-service line teams within EY (e.g., consulting, tax teams) to ensure integrated and exceptional client service delivery. This may involve supervising or mentoring teams.
  • Market & Competitive Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to monitor emerging trends, identify new opportunities, and analyze competitor activity.

Required Qualifications & Experience

EY is seeking candidates with a proven track record in driving growth and building relationships within a fast-paced professional or consulting services environment. Essential requirements include:

  • Professional Experience: A minimum of 12 to 15 years of experience in business development, strategic account management, or management consulting roles, with a significant portion spent in a top-tier professional services firm (experience with a Big 4 firm or equivalent is a significant advantage).
  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. An MBA or relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are highly regarded.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives and influence teams towards achieving ambitious targets.
  • Communication & Negotiation Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English, with superior persuasion and complex negotiation abilities.
  • Strategic Acumen: Deep understanding of the Saudi Arabian and Gulf region's economic and business landscape, particularly initiatives linked to Vision 2030.
  • Professional Network: An established and robust network of contacts with decision-makers in major and medium-sized corporations within Saudi Arabia.
