Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for combining deep technical expertise with commercial skills to drive sales growth in the Qatari market. The core responsibilities of this position include:

• Business Development & Marketing: Identifying new sales opportunities, building a sales pipeline, and working towards defined sales targets for advanced air filtration systems.
• Technical & Consultative Support: Acting as the technical liaison between the company and clients. This involves understanding complex client technical needs, proposing suitable solutions from AAF's product portfolio, and preparing technical and commercial proposals.
• Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining long-term relationships with existing and potential clients, including contractors, consulting engineers, and facility managers across various sectors.
• Internal Coordination: Working closely with internal engineering and logistics support teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Market Intelligence: Staying abreast of local market trends in Qatar, competition, and regulations related to air quality and energy, using this knowledge to formulate effective sales strategies.

Qualifications & Essential Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• Work Experience: Proven experience of 3 to 5 years in technical sales or application engineering, preferably within ventilation systems, HVAC, air filtration, or pollution control industries.
• Technical Skills: A strong understanding of engineering principles related to air dynamics, HVAC systems, and air quality standards.
• Personal & Commercial Skills:
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and Arabic.
  • Ability to understand, analyze, and translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented approach.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
• Advantageous: Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience working in the Qatar or GCC market, and with knowledge of local networks in the construction or industrial sectors.
