Role Overview

The Accounts Payable and Receivable function is the backbone of financial stability for any successful retail business. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for managing the revenue cycle, ensuring timely collection of dues from customers, and maintaining a healthy cash flow for the company. Key Expected Responsibilities and Duties

• Customer Account Management: Recording sales revenue to accounts, generating invoices, and issuing periodic account statements to customers.
• Collections Follow-up: Executing an effective and regular follow-up process to collect receivables from commercial (B2B) clients and/or distribution channels, investigating reasons for payment delays.
• Reconciliation & Matching: Matching incoming payments with invoices and applied discounts, performing periodic reconciliation of customer accounts to ensure record accuracy.
• Reporting & Analysis: Preparing regular reports on accounts receivable status, aging reports, and providing insights on payment patterns and potential risks to management.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Work Experience: Proven experience of 2-4 years in an accounts receivable or sales accounting role, with preference given to experience in the retail, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), or apparel sector.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel (formulas, pivot tables). Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems like SAP or Oracle is a significant advantage.
• Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic is a strong plus). Negotiation and persuasion abilities while maintaining positive working relationships. High accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
