Job Description

The Executive Chef will hold a vital leadership position within the company's food services division. The core responsibilities will focus on the overall supervision of kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and food safety, and contributing to the success and reputation of the services provided. The Executive Chef will work closely with the kitchen team and company management to achieve business goals and operational excellence.

Key Expected Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Supervision: Lead the entire kitchen brigade, including recruitment, training, mentoring, and daily supervision to ensure a productive and safe working environment.
  • Planning & Development: Design and develop innovative and appealing menus that meet customer expectations and align with the company's strategy, considering cost and profitability.
  • Quality Control: Ensure the application of the highest quality standards in the preparation and presentation of all dishes, maintaining consistency in flavor and presentation.
  • Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, from meal planning and procurement to food preparation and service.
  • Safety & Hygiene: Ensure full compliance with all local and international health and safety regulations in the kitchen environment, conducting regular inspections.
  • Cost Management: Monitor the kitchen budget, control food and labor costs, and minimize waste to improve profitability.
  • Communication: Work collaboratively with other departments such as procurement, sales, and service to ensure an integrated customer experience.

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • A degree or certification in Culinary Arts or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • Proven practical experience of at least 7 to 10 years in the culinary field, with a minimum of 3 to 5 years in a leadership role (Executive Chef or Head Chef).
  • Deep knowledge of various cuisines (may include Arabic, International, or according to the company's specialty).
