- Compliance and Standards: Ensuring full compliance with all local and international food safety, health, and sanitation standards, as well as occupational health and safety regulations within the pastry section.

Qualifications and Requirements
To be a successful candidate for this leadership role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Certification and Experience: A degree or certification in Culinary Arts or a related field, coupled with a minimum of 7 to 10 years of practical experience in pastry and bakery arts. At least 3 of those years should be in a similar leadership role (Executive Pastry Chef or Department Head) within a luxury hotel environment or high-end restaurants.
- Technical Skills: Exceptional mastery of all pastry, bakery, chocolate work, and cake decoration techniques. The candidate must possess a portfolio showcasing creativity and product quality.
- Leadership and Management Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a large team, with excellent communication and organizational skills. Experience in budgeting and cost control is essential.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of food safety and hygiene standards (e.g., HACCP). Knowledge of kitchen and inventory management software is a plus.
- Language: Proficiency in English for written and verbal communication. Knowledge of Arabic is a strong additional advantage.
- Personality: The candidate must possess a strong passion for food, creativity, the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and an unwavering commitment to quality and meticulous detail.
