Essential Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. A Master’s degree (e.g., MBA) or global professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) is a strong competitive advantage.
- A minimum of 7 to 10 years of practical experience in the financial and accounting field, with proven experience of at least 3 years in a similar leadership position (Finance Manager or Head of Accounting).
- Deep knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local practices in Bahrain.
- Excellent analytical and strategic skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Advanced proficiency in computer applications and accounting/finance software (e.g., ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
- High leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in both Arabic and English.
- High integrity, professionalism, and strong attention to detail.
