Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The Fleet Executive will occupy a pivotal role within the company's operational structure. The successful candidate is expected to undertake a range of critical responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Daily Operational Management: Planning, scheduling, and monitoring the daily movement and performance of the vehicle fleet to ensure all business and service requirements are met.
• Maintenance and Repair: Developing and implementing a regular preventive maintenance program for all vehicles, and coordinating with approved maintenance workshops for necessary repairs, ensuring all units remain in optimal operational condition.

• Compliance and Licensing: Ensuring all vehicles and drivers comply with local emirate and federal regulations in the UAE regarding licensing, insurance, and technical inspection.
• Vendor Management: Negotiating and managing contracts with service providers such as insurance companies, maintenance centers, and fuel suppliers.

Qualifications and Core Requirements

To be eligible for this position, the candidate must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Transport & Logistics, or a related field. Specialized certifications in fleet management will be a strong added advantage.
• Work Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of practical experience in a similar role (Fleet Executive, Fleet Supervisor, or related transport management position) within the UAE or the Gulf region. Experience in a consultancy or professional services environment is a significant plus.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suites (especially Excel), and knowledge of fleet tracking and management systems (Telematics). Ability to analyze data and prepare reports.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written) in both Arabic and English. Leadership skills and team management ability. Strong negotiation skills. Ability to work under pressure and solve problems proactively. Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of UAE transport and traffic laws and regulations.
