Job Description & Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications and websites. Key responsibilities will include:

• Full-Stack Development: Working on both the front-end and back-end of web applications and sites.
• WordPress Development & Customization: Building comprehensive websites using the WordPress CMS, and developing custom themes and plugins to meet specific client requirements.
• Front-End Development: Creating interactive, responsive user interfaces using technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React.js or Vue.js.
• Back-End Development: Building server-side logic, APIs, and databases using languages like PHP (with Laravel or Symfony frameworks) and Node.js.
• Database Management: Designing and managing relational databases (e.g., MySQL) and NoSQL databases, writing complex and efficient queries.
• Optimization & Performance: Ensuring optimal performance of websites and applications, optimizing load speed, security, and scalability.
• Collaboration: Working closely with UI/UX designers, project managers, and other team members to translate concepts into functional products.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Maintaining existing sites, troubleshooting and debugging issues, and implementing required updates and modifications.

Qualifications & Core Requirements

To qualify for this opportunity, you must possess the following:

• Proven Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in Full-Stack Web Development.
• WordPress Mastery: Deep expertise in WordPress development, including building custom themes and plugins from scratch.
• Technical Skills:
  • Front-end: Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+). Experience with a Front-end framework like React.js or Vue.js is a significant advantage.
  • Back-end: Strong experience with PHP (with knowledge of Laravel or Symfony frameworks). Knowledge of Node.js is a plus.
  • Databases: Experience in designing and managing databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
  • Version Control: Proficiency in using Git (GitHub or GitLab).
  • RESTful APIs: Experience in building and integrating APIs.
• Soft Skills: Ability to work in a team, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage time and multitask effectively. The candidate must be able to work independently with an understanding of project goals.
• Language: Proficiency in written and spoken English. Knowledge of Arabic is an additional advantage in the Bahraini job market.
