Job Overview

The successful candidate will be the primary leader responsible for steering and executing the company-wide innovation and artificial intelligence strategy. You will bridge the gap between traditional business operations and the immense potential offered by advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Big Data analytics. The core objective is to create tangible value across the entire value chain, from design and development, through production and logistics, to marketing, sales, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Strategy Development: Lead the formulation and implementation of a comprehensive innovation and AI vision and strategy aligned with the company's overarching business goals.
• Transformation Leadership: Manage key digital transformation projects that integrate AI technologies into core processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making.
• Technology Scouting: Conduct ongoing research into emerging technologies, tools, and solutions applicable to the fashion and apparel industry, assessing their viability.
• Partnership Building: Collaborate with various departments (e.g., Design, Production, Sales, Marketing, IT) to identify opportunities and lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Performance Management: Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact and success of innovation and AI initiatives on revenue, cost reduction, and customer satisfaction.
• Team Building & Leadership: Lead and develop a team of technical talents and innovators, fostering a culture of innovation and experimentation within the organization.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Work Experience: A proven track record of 8-10 years in leadership roles focused on innovation, digital transformation, and AI/ML strategy, preferably within the retail, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), or fashion sector.
• Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's or Ph.D. in a relevant area is a strong advantage.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of AI, Machine Learning, and data analytics concepts, with practical knowledge of their business applications (e.g., demand forecasting, logistics optimization, personalization).
• Leadership Skills: Exceptional ability to lead and inspire, with a proven record of managing cross-disciplinary teams and driving organizational change.
• Strategic Thinking: High-level analytical and strategic skills, with the ability to translate technical insights into successful business action plans.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder influence skills, capable of engaging with everyone from the C-suite to operational teams.
