Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The appointed HR Specialist will perform a range of vital tasks that support the workforce strategy and ensure the smooth operation of HR functions. Key expected responsibilities include:

  • Managing Recruitment Processes: Overseeing the full recruitment cycle, from job posting and CV screening to arranging and conducting interviews, and facilitating job offers and onboarding procedures.

  • Employee Support: Providing support and addressing employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and benefits.

  • Records Management: Maintaining accurate and confidential employee records, ensuring HR databases and systems are up-to-date.
  • Project Participation: Contributing to HR department initiatives and projects such as training and development programs, performance appraisal cycles, and employee engagement activities.

Required Qualifications and Skills

To be a successful candidate for this opportunity, you should meet the following criteria:

  • Academic Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Work Experience: Proven practical experience in the human resources field, preferably in a similar role (HR Specialist or HR Coordinator). Experience within the Dubai or UAE job market is a significant advantage.
  • Knowledge: A solid understanding of HR principles and practices, with good familiarity with UAE labor and employment laws.
  • Personal Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written) in both Arabic and English.
    • Ability to handle sensitive information with utmost confidentiality and high professional ethics.
    • Strong organizational and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
    • Customer-service orientation and the ability to build positive relationships with employees at all levels.
    • Proficiency in computer software and Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) is a plus.
