Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The HVAC Technician will be responsible for a range of critical technical tasks to ensure the optimal operation of all our heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. Core responsibilities include:

• Performing regular preventive and scheduled maintenance on all HVAC units and components throughout the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, restaurants, kitchens, and fitness centers.

• Working closely with other engineering and maintenance departments to implement upgrade or expansion projects for HVAC systems.
• Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed and requisitioning spare parts and tools as needed.
• Strict adherence to all applicable occupational health and safety protocols within the hotel and the State of Kuwait.

Qualifications and Essential Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this role, you should meet the following criteria:

• A certificate or diploma in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing HVAC systems, with preference given to experience in luxury hotels, large residential, or commercial complexes.
• Strong practical knowledge of the electrical and mechanical principles of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
• Ability to read system schematics and technical manuals.
• Proficiency in using measurement tools and specialized maintenance equipment for the field.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work within a multicultural team.
• Punctuality, reliability, and the ability to work under pressure to address urgent issues.
