Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Execute scheduled maintenance routines for instrumentation devices (pressure, flow, temperature, level gauges) and control systems (PLCs, control valves, transmitters).
• Calibration & Tuning: Calibrate instruments using standard equipment to ensure reading accuracy and compliance with technical specifications.
• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose faults in control loops and automation systems promptly and effectively to minimize downtime.
• Installation & Dismantling: Assist in the installation of new instruments or replacement of faulty ones, including electrical and piping hookups.
• Documentation & Reporting: Document all maintenance, repair, and calibration work in required reports, maintaining accurate records.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Educational Qualifications:

• A Diploma in Engineering (specialization in Instrumentation & Control, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics) or equivalent.
• Professional certifications in instrumentation and control (e.g., from ISA) will be a strong advantage.

Work Experience:

• Proven practical experience of at least 2-3 years in a similar role (ICA/Instrumentation Technician) in an industrial environment, preferably in chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, or water treatment industries.
• Hands-on experience with various types of measurement devices and control systems (PLCs, DCS).

Technical & Personal Skills:

• Strong understanding of electrical, electronic principles, and control circuits.
