Job Description and Key Responsibilities
In this role, the Inside Sales Engineer will be the cornerstone in bridging the gap between complex technical solutions and customer business needs. Unlike a traditional sales representative, this position requires a deep understanding of the technical products or services offered by the company, coupled with the ability to market and sell them effectively remotely. The core expected responsibilities include:
- Full Sales Cycle Management: From initial client requirement gathering, presenting suitable technical solutions, preparing technical and commercial proposals, to closing deals, primarily through remote communication channels like phone, email, and video conferences.
- Deep Technical Understanding: The ability to comprehend the company's products or services (assumed to be in a technical field like software, cloud, specialized hardware, automation solutions, etc.) and communicate their technical value to potential customers in India.
- Targeting the Indian Market: Developing and executing a strategy to target potential companies and clients in India, with an understanding of the local business culture and regulatory requirements.
- Pre-Sales and Post-Sales Support: Providing technical support to current and prospective clients, assisting in resolving technical queries, and collaborating with internal technical or engineering support teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Reporting and Planning: Preparing regular reports on sales performance, pipeline, and revenue forecasts for the Indian market for senior management.
Qualifications and Core Requirements
