Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The appointed Interior Site Supervisor will be responsible for the direct oversight of daily operations at the project site. The core responsibilities of this position include:

• Daily Supervision: Direct and continuous supervision of all interior finishing activities on-site, including carpentry, painting, flooring, false ceilings, and sanitary and electrical fittings (within the finishing scope).
• Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensuring all works are executed in strict accordance with agreed technical specifications, interior design drawings, and the highest standards of quality and safety prevalent in Kuwait.
• Coordination & Management: Effective coordination between various subcontractors and tradespeople on-site (electricians, plumbers, carpenters, etc.) to ensure workflow efficiency and prevent task conflicts.
• Scheduling & Monitoring: Monitoring work progress against the project's master schedule, and preparing daily or weekly reports on site status, achievements, and any challenges or delays.
• Safety Oversight: Enforcing a safe working environment by ensuring all workers adhere to occupational safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Inventory Management: Preliminary monitoring and tracking of interior finishing materials on-site to ensure required quantities are available timely, preventing work stoppages.
• Problem-Solving: Addressing minor technical challenges and issues that arise during execution promptly and effectively, and escalating major problems requiring management intervention.

Qualifications and Key Requirements

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Background: A diploma or bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a similar discipline. Significant proven practical experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Work Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on field supervision experience in interior finishing projects within the construction sector.
• Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of interior finishing stages, building materials, execution methodologies, and the ability to read architectural and design drawings.
